Robert Stearns' Biography
Robert Stearns is the founder and executive director of
Eagles' Wings, a dynamic relational ministry involved in a
variety of outreaches and strategic projects around the
world. He has ministered in 30 nations around the world and
maintains a significant focus on the Eastern United States
and Israel.
Robert is the visionary behind the worldwide prayer
initiative, “The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem”
which is observed every year the first Sunday in October.
Robert and Dr. Jack Hayford serve together as co-chairmen of
the mass prayer mobilization, representing the largest
coalition of leaders of influence in the Body of Christ
focused upon prayer for Jerusalem.
Robert has consulted and met personally with current and
past Prime Ministers of Israel, Ehud Olmert, Ariel Sharon
and Benjamin Netanyahu concerning Israel and Christian
relations. He has also sung for the last four Prime
Ministers, including a special concert for Benjamin
Netanyahu. In Israel he has been guest artist and worship
leader at several celebrations of the Feast of Tabernacles,
and has ministered in congregations throughout the land.
Robert also serves Pastor John Hagee as the North East
Director for Christians United for Israel.
A
powerful communicator and musician, Robert has been a
featured guest columnist in both “Charisma” and “Ministries
Today” magazines, is in demand internationally as a keynote
speaker, worship leader and soloist, and has lectured in
Colleges and Universities across America. Robert is an
accomplished recording artist, and he recently completed his
second book “Keepers of the Flame” following “Prepare the
Way” published by
Charisma House. He has appeared on the
700 Club with Pat Robertson, 100 Huntley St., “Praise the
Lord” on the
Trinity Broadcasting Network and with Marcus
and Joannie Lamb on the
Daystar network.
Robert serves on the board of directors for “Ministries
Today Magazine”, he is the Publisher of “KAIROS”
magazine, as well as the executive director of the
Israel
Experience College Scholarship Program. Robert was the
executive director of “The Call New York City” which
gathered 90,000 people for prayer and fasting in New York
City in June 2002. In 2005 he served on the leadership
committee for the NYC Billy Graham Crusade, the last of Mr.
Graham’s career. Robert recently served on the Executive
Cabinet and as the International Worship Coordinator for the
2006 Azusa Centennial Celebration.
Robert his wife Ana, and their son Isaac live in New York,
and spend a great deal of time in Jerusalem, Israel.
